I need a welder

If you're looking at this page, you already know I need a mobile welder who understands unibody cars, and can work weeknights or weekends.

240z Reinforcements I'm restoring a '71 Datsun 240z. At the moment it's an empty shell tipped onto the passenger side. I built a rollover jig to replace a rusted-out floor and do various other repairs. Considering the age of the car, it's pretty rust free, but a couple of long-ago accidents and some punctures from road debris need to be taken care of. I bought a reinforcement kit, replaced, cut some patches, and did a lot of grinding and sandblasting. Now it's ready for welding.

240z Reinforcements These are Bad Dog frame rail reinforcements. They're made from 14ga steel. I did some trimming and notching and they fit pretty well. The floors underneath were cleaned down to bare metal, then given a light coat of weld-thru primer.

I replaced part of the floor with a premade pan. It took a lot of bending and fitting but now it lines up pretty well. For whatever reason, Datsun (Nissan) punched drain holes in the floors and used rubber plugs for seals. Over time the plug grew hard and brittle and fell out. I cut patches to cover the holes permanently

240z Reinforcement Here's a close-up of the reinforcement at the rear. It's a good fit.

240z Reinforcement These are patches over the drain holes, and various other places. The floor is just tacked from the inside.

That's most of what I need welded. Is it something you might be interested in doing? I know it's tough to make an estimate based on photos so I'm willing to pay an hourly rate. Let me know what works for you.
